The sample links listed on my website are only a taste of what I’ve done as publications have transformed and often, folded. However, you can find my bylines in outlets, such as The New Yorker, The New York Times, Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, The Atlantic, and The Guardian, among many others.

I currently in the Creative Writing department teach at Princeton University where I also hold a Bachelor’s in Comparative Literature. Previously, I taught at Columbia, Pacific University, The New School, and Leipzig University, where I was their Guest Picador Professor.

In addition, I’m a filmmaker! My debut short film, Black Madonna, which I wrote and co-directed, was selected at the Big Apple Film Festival, Pan African Film & Arts Festival, and NewFilmmakers Los Angeles.
